Ambrose 'Thomas' Weidmann - Thomas was chosen because he is the saint of Architects. Patty Hutchinson his sponsor. Only 3 guests were allowed, 6 feet of distance (although we sat together in the pew) while being blessed during this Covid confirmation at St Lawrence Church in Greece.

scouts
Scout meetings and campouts have been different from Covid. Our normal meeting place of 3rd Presbyterian Church is closed and as of June 2021 has still not reopened. We conducted zoom meetings, we're creative and did small gatherings in multiple places in order to still gather. Once more people could gather in one spot we started meeting at Blessed Sacrament and had campouts at Webster and Mendon Parks.

highland park
The magnolias are in bloom! It is time to run around Highland Park and climb trees (Ambrose and Blaise) or take photos (me). The flowers didn't disappoint, giggling was loud and the 'annual' pic in the old stump.

letchworth
We met up with the Bindigs at Letchworth. We hiked down to the falls and up to the railroad trestle. Conversations were abundant, nature delivered, and lunch on a huge concrete slab table that we carried in. Max had his cast off from his foot but we cut our hiking a bit short. Beautiful day at the park.

day trip
Spring break was a little different because of Covid. We didn't take a big trip but enjoyed a day trip to Webster Arboretum and Voula's for lunch (what a treat after winning a gift card). At the arboretum, buds were just starting to come out on trees. A follow-up visit is planned while in full bloom. Hopefully next time no 'friends' or snakes.
I loved how the guys worked to 'jump' at the same time for a cool photo; many jumps later (no one got wet) one great photo.

easter
Twice a year I make a point to set up the tripod and take a full family (including myself) photo. This year after battling the sun and finding some shade outside our house we took a selfie on our way back after mass. Note to self - I prefer this laid back method over the formal tripod photo.
Prior to Easter we had a huge ham dinner at Uncle Doug’s while visiting, the boys decided they wanted us to try lamb for Easter dinner. Well, we tried it and we are not fans. The au gratin potato stackers were a hit and our annual tradition of Lamb cake was adored. The poor lamb has a number of names - dog cake and his year four-legged mammal cake.
Our Easter Day was complete with an inside egg hunt (I guess the boys aren’t too old yet) and a new board game, Tsuro.
