weekend fun

We attended a friends' party with a wiffle ball tournament,
bouncy houses, water slides and so much more.
What did the boys enjoy doing the most? Painting!

Blaise showing what colors he used . . .

Ambrose do you know there is something on your face?
Face painting was a hit too!

At our church picnic the boys did the 3 legged race . . .
or in their case it might be the giggle race,
one falls down, giggle some more . . .you get the idea.

how to floss

This morning while I was brushing my teeth, Blaise asked for floss. Ambrose right behind him asked for some too. As the three of us were flossing our teeth I received a lesson on how exactly I should floss.

Blaise said, "put it in your teeth and shoot it out, so you can get all the cookie out." (mind you this was 7:30am and we hadn't even eaten breakfast let alone cookies).

And Ambrose followed with, "first, I lick off the mint". I now look at flossing in a whole new light.

while in sodus point

A ride in our tandem kayak used to be Ambrose falling asleep in my lap to the lull of the water. Then there was a period of time that Ambrose was nervous being in the boat, afraid it would tip. Blaise entered the picture and it soon became four of us in the boat. Now, 'the four of us' in the boat is tight thus 2 kayaks.

This summer Ambrose made a solo paddle.

First confirmation that the paddle would float.

Into the boat . . .

away he goes . . .

look at that speed . . .

. . . paddled all the way across the bay!

during my parents visit

Two "adults" asked to pose for some photos,
this is what happens when you ask my parents . . .

Oh, would you like me to look in the camera?

I have to have my picture taken with her?

Ouch, that hurts.

A smile please!

Oh, come on folks really?

Ok, Dad just plain scary.

It might be best to just close your eyes.
