After receiving a foot plus of snow while Ambrose and Damian were at a camp out, Blaise and I shoveled out our driveway in 2 1/2 hours yesterday.  Today we went to Cobbs Hill and ran into some friends for a great afternoon of sledding.  Tomorrow we are off to Swain to ski!

Christmas with Andy, Sandra, Isabella and Sebastian outside Asheville, NC at Bison Escape came complete with playground, feeding bison, trying bison meat, game room, hot tub, big movie chair and tons of fun!  We had visits from Grandpa and Grandma, Doug & Jamie and family and Sarah and Greg and family. 

We drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway, toured the Biltmore and walked around downtown Asheville.  Then we drove 3 hours east to visit Cassandra, Ali, Aunt Pinky, Kendall and Audrey.  The kids filled their time on the trampoline and the adults caught up.  And we stayed in a treehouse at Cherry Treesort.

What a surprise for our architecture, lego loving son!  It didn't hit Ambrose until about half way through the tour that we were at Fallingwater, the Frank Lloyd Wright home in Pennsylvania built for the owner of Macy's.  Cantilevers, yellow and brick red paint, simplistic, windows that turned out and a waterfall underneath the house.  We had the pleasure of touring this house on our way down to Asheville, NC for Christmas. Simply unbelievable!
