Blaise led a campout at Mendon Ponds Park about cooking. Dinner was a contest between patrols where they chose out of a bag 'meat', 'grain', 'dairy', 'two vegetables' and 'surprise ingredient'. The end results were creative and delicious!

 

wood badge ceremony

Finally! Tom and I found a date that worked for both of us and we had our Wood Badge Ceremony (Covid style - outside) in his backyard. A small ceremony with just the right people. Janeen removed my neckerchief, Annaliese put on my new neckerchief and Juls finished with the slide. Stories were shared, memories of an amazing training relived and some cake to celebrate.

Blaise and I checked out the Lilacs today at Highland Park. Just walking around the park was so fragrant but it does help to get a 'big sniff' if you get your nose right on in there.
