international dinner

Almost 200 people gathered in the school gym for our annual International Dinner.  The 'breaking of bread' while dining on various ethnic dishes.  And enjoying our preschoolers' artwork.

We are blessed to be in this lovely community as so many stepped up to help me setup, serve and cleanup.  We came home full of love and well let's face it just plain full!

Friends over,
time to visit,
time to cook and eat together,

that's okay we will make

5 lbs.

5 lbs. of pasta
1 container of bread crumbs
3 1/2 bags of cheese (at 8 cups each)
1 lb. of Parmesan cheese
2 1/2 gallons of milk
3 sticks of butter
some flour and other spices
equal 5 lbs. of macaroni and cheese!

Blaise and I made 4 lbs. for the teacher's luncheon (pictured below) tomorrow. 
1 lb. is in our frig ready to be baked for dinner.  YUM!
