kindergarten celebration

Yes, that was my son escorting his kindergarten friend in with his shirt untucked.  Awesome.  Although I noticed the shirt first more importantly, look at that smile!  That says it all!  He was so proud to walk down and then perform a number of songs, etc.  The kindergartens have been practicing awhile and boy could you tell, they all did great!

We pass Bad to the Bone Barbecue every time we go to the cottage.  Yesterday we decided to stop for some lunch to celebrate Father's Day.  While waiting for our delicious food you can see the goofy guys I got to hang out with.  Then onto the cottage for some water play and relaxation.

Ambrose along with other students from 3 schools performed in a guitar recital.  He performed "Aria for Ambrose" and "Yellow Submarine".  This is the view we had . . .

Ambrose made his First Communion last May and this year he celebrated with his 2nd grade class.  Good news - the suit from last year still fit!  And did I mention that the suit he is wearing my brother Doug (Ambrose's godfather) wore at his First Communion.  LOVE!  This also makes me think, what all do I need to save for my grand kids???  Oh, the pressure.

grandma and grandpa visit

Grandma, Grandpa and Annie (their dog) visited last week.  They took in sports/activities the boys had and helped build a set of steps off the back of our house.  The boys favorite time though was stamping cards with Grandma and doing wood projects with Grandpa.

One night we went to the Genesee Brewery House for dinner . . .
